Introduction of Korean Society of Mathematical Education |
Korean Society of Mathematical Education(KSME) was established on October 9, 1962 by a group of mathematicians who wanted to research new trends of mathematical education and to exchange information on the contemporary mathematical education in the world. KSME publishes the following 5 journals related with mathematics education and mathematics:

¡¤ Pure and Applied Mathematics(in english)
¡¤ Education of Primary School Mathematics(in korean or english)
¡¤ Research in Mathematical Education(in english)
¡¤ Communications of Mathematical Education(in korean or english)
Our Goal is:
¡¤ to survey both formal school mathematical education (from K to university) and informal mathematics education outside school.
¡¤ to provide new theories and some valuable information to members to help their research activities and to extend mathematical education's reaching area.
¡¤ to cooperate with other organizations to develop the culture of education.
Our Major activities are:
¡¤ to publish journals and books.
¡¤ to administrate conferences, seminars, and workshops on mathematical education.
¡¤ to provide articles, books, and information on mathematical education to members.
